Commitment to Quality
NHBB is dedicated to achieving and sustaining the highest standards of quality assurance. Our quality control systems are approved to many industry and customer certifications, including ISO 9001:2008, AS9100 Rev. C, Boeing D6-82479, and numerous Nadcap accreditations. We also participate in and support such programs as World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Total Quality Management (TQM).
Our quality assurance staff maintains process surveillance of all production operations, in addition to conducting incoming material, first article, lot, and in-process component inspections. NHBB's clean room assembly facilities utilize the latest performance and reliability test equipment in order to test critical performance functions for compliance. Noise and vibration are also measured on finished products to further classify bearings for customer requirements.
All of our gauge-setting masters are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (N.I.S.T.) and our gauges and gauging methods are correlated to assure that the products meet all documented specifications.
Did you know that NHBB's pursuit of the ISO 9000 certification marked two firsts in the U.S. bearing industry? We were the first company to register all of our manufacturing divisions to ISO 9000 and the first company to register at least one division to ISO 9001.
