Wilk to Assist All Three Divisions With Materials Management

June 26, 2007 (Astro Division, Laconia, NH): Barry Wilk of the Astro Division was promoted to Senior Manager-Corporate Materials. In this newly created dual position, Barry will continue as the Materials Manager for the Astro Division, reporting to Operations Manager Jim St. Pierre. At the same time, he will collaborate with NHBB’s Vice President of Manufacturing, Richard Bardellini, and the Division Operations and Materials Managers, to coordinate shared materials activities among Astro, HiTech and the Precision Division.

“Recognizing the challenges of global competition, NHBB must continue exploring ways to harness the collective capability of NHBB,” says NHBB’s Vice President of Manufacturing, Richard Bardellini. “Barry is the right person to lead efforts to leverage the entire organization on critical materials initiatives such as systems advancements, divisional cost control efforts and global sourcing.”

Barry, who has over 20 years of experience in materials management, has been Astro’s Materials Manager for over ten years. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and Business Administration from Worcester State, and he is APICS certified.
