NHBB First to Qualify for "Green" Corrosion Resistant AS81935 Rod End Series
January 12, 2010 (Laconia, NH): NHBB's Astro Division is now fully qualified and is currently the only approved source for the CRES (Stainless Steel) self lubricating rod end series, AS81935/6, /7, /8, and /9. Rod ends manufactured to this new standard are a safer and cleaner alternative to AS81935/1, /2, /4, and /5 rod ends, which are Cadmium plated. AS81935/6, /7, /8, and /9 rod end bodies are manufactured from corrosion resistant Ph13-8Mo Stainless Steel. Ball components can also be made of Ph13-8Mo Stainless Steel for added corrosion resistance.
